Many Thanks

I really can't believe that I've finished 1000 miles and that this weekend has come and gone.  For a long time now, I've been counting down the days until October 21st and now we are already four days out.  To recap, my family arrived on October 20th and 21st, to celebrate Katrina and Del's birthdays, as well as to help me finish and celebrate my 1000 mile finish.  On Thursday evening, I ran from work and after two miles met Katrina, Ben, my mom and Del on the street, and picked up Katrina and Ben for 2.7 miles more. Then, at 4.7 miles, we picked up Boris for the last two miles of my 1000 mile trek.  Del was back at my apartment waiting for me to finish.

The end of the run was surreal, I still don't think I fully comprehend that I have no set number of miles to run tomorrow.  I'm not sure if I like it!

After finishing my run, I was lucky enough to have the family here (with the exception of my brother, Michael, who was dearly missed) for the whole weekend.  It was a great time and there are more pictures to come.

As for now, though, I have to thank some very special people who have helped push the money raised since I started running in January to over $21,000!!
Thank you to:

Mark Modos
Phil and Louisa Kuljurgis
Laura Thurman
Bonnie Cosgrove
Carol Caldwell, on behalf of her mother Rose
Evan Roze and Janna Davis
Stacy Root
Paul Asper
Brian Fizpatrick is not over, but I'm still in the process of figuring out what it will be . . . stay tuned!
